Founded in 1921, Straub Medical Center includes a 159-bed hospital in Honolulu, a network of neighborhood clinics and a visiting specialist program that reaches throughout the state of Hawai'i. With over 200 physicians who are leaders in their fields, Straub provides its patients with diagnoses and treatments for more than 32 different medical specialties, including bone and joint, heart, cancer, endocrinology/diabetes, family medicine, gastroenterology, geriatric medicine, internal medicine, vascular and urology. Straub is home to the Pacific Region's only multidisciplinary burn treatment center. The hospital consistently brings new technologies and innovative medical practices to Hawai'i, such as minimally invasive cardiac surgery and total joint replacement.

At our Cardiac Catheterization Lab, we employ the latest catheterization technology to diagnose heart problems and identify the most appropriate treatment plan for each patient.
As a Registered Nurse, you will have the opportunity to provide professional and compassionate nursing services to the Straub community through the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and documentation of patient care in our Cardiac Catheterization Lab Procedure Area. You will also function as an associate to a charge nurse and begin to assume charge nurse responsibilities with time. We are looking for someone with excellent patient care and communication skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai'i's people.

Minimum Qualifications: Current Hawai'i Registered Nurse License. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards. One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab.
Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's of Science degree in Nursing or related field. Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification. One (1) year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience in Telemetry, including proficiency in hemodynamic monitoring and advanced Electrocardiography (ECG) interpretive skills, or equipment experience.
