Job Title: Echo Tech Cardiac Sonographer - Pediatrics

Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day Shift - Mix of 4x10-Hour (07:00 - 17:30) and 5x8-Hour (07:00 - 15:30)
Guaranteed Hours: Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours.
Experience: Minimum 5 years required
License: Must have Illinois license in hand at submission
Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, and RDCS required
Must-Have:
• Ability to perform adult and pediatric echocardiograms

• Perform routine and advanced echocardiography procedures including Bubble Study, Imaging with Contrast Agents, M-Mode, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, and Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE).
• Conduct Pediatric Echo procedures including M-Mode, Portable Studies, RVIT, RVOT, and Routine studies.
• Experience with Siemens echocardiography machines preferred.
• Comply with all safety regulations and protocols, particularly isolation precautions, for ICU and ED patients.
• Availability for weekend on-call duties every other or every third weekend, as well as one day during the week, depending on departmental need.
• Flexibility to float within the scope to meet facility needs.
• Commitment to working 2 out of 3 major holidays.
• Discuss any block schedule requests with the manager.
• Adhere to hospital charting protocols using Cerner.
• Complete orientation requirements, including fingerprinting, within the specified time frame prior to compliance date.
