Quality Manager - CNC Cutting Tools

ARCH Cutting Tools Flushing is seeking a key player to join our team as a Quality Manager.
The QM will take the current quality department to the next level, implement a Quality Management System, understand CMM programming and reports, manual measuring techniques as well as have demonstrated leadership and strong people skills.
The ideal candidate will have machine job shop experience with a strong understanding in tooling and also have demonstrated a progressive career path in a quality department.

Oversee all inspection activities including incoming, first piece, in-process and final inspections to ensure final product meets all company and customer requirements.
Will assist with the creation of creating QMS program and implementation.
Must have a strong knowledge in checking parts via various equipment as well as Quality Management Systems.
Experience in Cutting Tools strongly desired.
Advanced blueprints readingCapable of making precise measurements with an array of inspection equipmentCapable of programming, operating and interpreting reports using a Mitutoyo CMMPossess strong math skillsGD&T experience a plusStrong understanding of ISO 9001 standard, auditing experience a plusAble to lead the ISO Certification ProcessIntermediate or higher computer skillsProficiency with Microsoft 365 programs, Email use and management, Data entry, Create SpreadsheetsTool Calibration experience.
Capable of using calibration software (GageTrak)Certifying the product meets industry standards as well as blueprint.
8D Problem SolvingMonitor non-conforming parts and create reports/data as needed.

•A 4-year degree or 5+ years of relative experience required.

Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
