Position Overview:
Job Summary:

The Manual Quality Assurance Tester at OneRail is responsible for thoroughly testing our applications to ensure they meet quality standards and provide a seamless user experience. This role involves executing test cases, identifying and reporting bugs, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues.
Responsibilities:
• Execute manual test cases and scenarios to validate application functionality and performance.
• Identify, document, and report bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and test plans.
• Participate in design reviews, team meetings, and retrospectives to provide QA insights.
• Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues beyond predefined test cases.
• Ensure thorough coverage of user-driven scenarios and use cases.
• Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
• Maintain and update test documentation and test case repositories.
• Assist in the development and improvement of QA processes and best practices.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years of experience in manual software testing or in an active support role with access to business platforms.
• Strong understanding of QA methodologies and best practices.
• Experience with bug tracking tools and test case management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Good communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to think from the user's perspective and identify potential issues.
Skills:
• Proficiency in executing manual test cases and writing detailed bug reports.
• Familiarity with basic software development processes and lifecycle.
• Ability to prioritize testing tasks and manage time effectively.
• Basic knowledge of version control systems (Git) is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with QA tools.
• Knowledge of frontend and backend systems integration.
• Familiarity with automated testing concepts and tools.
• Contributions to QA process improvements or documentation.
