Public Area Attendant

We are looking for a Public Area Attendant to join our team at The Hoxton, Downtown LA. The role is based within the property and reports directly to the Executive Housekeeper.

What you'll do….

Provide the highest level of customer care, and to provide a friendly, helpful and responsive level of service for our guests

Be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of all public areas, we want our guests to see a sparkling lobby every time they walk in

Empty trash in all public areas and clean public area restrooms

Clean all mirrors, inside of windows, wipe and dust all surfaces; keeping all brass shiny

Vacuum carpets where needed

Follow departmental policies, procedures and service standards

Attend all training sessions required

Report necessary maintenance items

Ensure that all Health and Safety standards are adhered to and any breaches in standards are reported to the Executive Housekeeper

Always maintain a positive and friendly attitude, even when working to find solutions to challenges

Undertake any other reasonable requests from management
