As the Production Data Entry Clerk you will be responsible for timely and accurate capturing of detailed operating data to enable the flow of materials and products. As member of the Plant Finance team, you will also be responsible for the reconciliation, analysis and troubleshooting of data inconsistencies as well as the timely communication of results to plant management. You will cross-train to become versed in all other plant finance functions. In the Production Data Entry Clerk role you will also focus on process improvements and building efficiencies.
What You'll Do:
Production Entry & Processing: (50%)
Enter daily production data into SAP and all applicable spreadsheets; identify and resolve any discrepancies or issues
Maintain movement of inventory through the quality process
Own oversight of Material Review Board (MRB) inventory including movements of all quality and non-quality product
Manage movement of damaged and obsolete inventory
Raw Material Receiving: (20%)
Collect and segregate Bill of Lading (BOL) and/or packing slip tickets
Enter or scan receipt information and prepare it for entry into SAP
Purchasing Support: (15%)
Research and resolve invoice issues
Assist with vendor management, including new vendor set-up and on-going maintenance
Manage open receipt resolution and matching invoice issues (GRIR process)
Assist in managing open purchase orders to keep up-to-date and accurate so the information may be used in budget management and cost forecasting
Cost Accounting Support: (15%)
Continually identify, design, and implement best practices and process improvements and explaining processes and techniques throughout the plant
Support inventory cycle counts

What You'll Bring:
High school diploma or GED required
Associates degree preferred
Minimum of one year of experience in a high-volume data processing business environment required
Manufacturing experience preferred
Strong Microsoft Office capability and proficiency in ERP systems, SAP preferred
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; ability to handle sensitive situations with tact
Ability to challenge information and a passion to exhaustively uncover robust facts and data which improve insights and the quality of the final decision
Proven ability to process complex and detailed data and information
Knowledge of research methods and report preparation
Ability to identify problems and think independently about how to solve problems based on analysis of data
Ability to effectively take action to solve problems while exhibiting sound judgment
Desire to search for ways to improve the efficiency and accuracy of work processes
Ability to see the bigger operational picture.
Demonstrated computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, including pivot tables & VLOOKUP in Excel, and internet research skills
Results-oriented to ensure delivery of work in an accurate, complete, and timely fashion
Team oriented with desire to share best practices, learn from others, and elevate the results for the team
Demonstrate personal integrity in conducting business internally and with suppliers, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, business guidelines, and ethical standards set by the company, local authorities, and government
