We are looking for a talented
Production Coordinator - 1st Shift
to join our team specializing in
Manufacturing
for our Components Business Segment team in
York, SC.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Operates machines and production equipment independently in accordance with quality and productivity requirements safely in a manufacturing environment and may instruct or coach others.
Report any work-related injury, illness, incident or hazard.
Follows all applicable standard work, process documentation and quality procedures such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), poka-yoke and visual standards.
Fully proficient with all work processes, independently operating equipment to manufacture and assemble products in order to create the proper characteristics and dimensions necessary to meet customer expectations.
Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping tasks and machine cleaning tasks and performs planned operator care and maintenance tasks.
Works with peers, skilled trades and support staff to maintain and identify equipment needing repair.

QUALIFICATIONS
Education, Licenses, Certifications
High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.
Experience
Forklift experience.
LEAN Manufacturing knowledge and experience.
Manufacturing experience.
Familiarity with quality and time.
Knowledge of material flow
Great communication skills
Must be a quick learner and able to collaborate with others.
Knowledge of Microsoft office suite.
Knowledge of material flows
Problem solving skills.
Experience adhering to safety requirements.
Familiarity with hand tools and fasteners.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience. Additional benefits vary between locations and include options such as our 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan, Cash Balance Pension Plan, Medical/Dental/Life Insurance, Health Savings Account, Domestic Partners Coverage and a full complement of personal and professional benefits.
