Solugenix is assisting a client, in their search for a

Product Owner . This is a 6-9 month contract opportunity based out of San Diego, CA (Remote).
The Product Owner Off-Premises is responsible for delivering value, managing a roadmap, and day-to-day oversight of digital-related SAAS integration projects for client's digital Off-premises business unit. The Product Owner of Digital will work closely with business users, vendors, and solution architects, to create all business requirements needed to ensure all aspects of our technology platforms and Third-party integrations are built to specification within a fast-paced environment. The Product Owner Off-Premises will provide vision and direction to the development team(s) based on stakeholder input.
This role collaborates heavily throughout the business with key partners in restaurant technology, marketing, operations, and analytics and strives to create alignment on priority, understanding value, and delivery timing. They will partner with other cross-functional teams and outside parties to ensure the completion and adoption of the Product deliverables. They will be a strong advocate for the Product vision and team.
The successful candidate will have a strategic mindset and possess the ability to execute initiatives and projects on time and on budget. They will be able to clearly communicate vision, status, and objectives to business stakeholders and engineering partners to establish cross-functional alignment, constantly balance deliverables against capital budget and engineering/vendor capacities, provide transparency into the progress of work while monitoring business impact, and report out key learnings and results.
Qualifications:

Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Previous BSA/BA and requirements writing experience.
Proven ability to manage product roadmaps, and backlogs, and prioritize initiatives based on value.
Ability to effectively work with cross-functional teams (tech, marketing, ops, etc. ).
Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with Digital/eCommerce platforms and custom development.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent related work experience.
4+ years working with direto-consumer applications.
5-7 years of project management and/or product owner experience.
Preferred Qualifications:


CSPO certification.
PMP certification.
Familiarity with software development best practices.
Restaurant or franchise brand experience.
Core Proficiencies:

Strong communication and project management skills, comfortable working through requirements and understanding the value.
Responsibilities:

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

1. Driving Value through project management and dev team oversight:


Maintain the project timeline with prioritized work.
Collaborating with cross-functional implementation team, assigning tasks, and tracking progress.
Ensure that work is ready for development.
Perform user acceptance testing on all changes.
2. Leading Communication and Stakeholder Alignment:


Align Product Roadmap with business goals and priorities.
Be the main point of contact for Stakeholders to communicate Product progress, testing status, future goals, road mapping, and resourcing.
3. Build consensus and alignment on product deliverables:


Collect requirements and input from business partners throughout the business.
Work with business partners to identify and document product or business process enhancements to drive operational efficiencies.
4. Deliver and own impact:


Manage identified risks appropriately.
Ensure feedback loops are in place to collect regular feedback, adjust direction, and take corrective action.

Pay Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC:
$50/hour to $62/hour. Starting rate of pay offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
