This

Principal Automation Engineer

serves as a technical lead designing, coding, and supporting factory automation tool controllers.
Introduces and implements major new applications, technologies, or techniques to support factory automation.
Provides technical guidance to senior management, peers, and other engineers in the company.
Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automation solutions for controlling semiconductor factory equipment using SECS/GEM and GEM300 protocols.
Integrate automation solutions to 3rd party support systems such as Automatic Process Control (APC) or Fault Detection & Classification (FDC) within the factory.
Identify and implement custom Automation rules for improving site metrics such as Automated Move Out %, Line Yield, rework etc.
Responsible for all automated systems for a specific manufacturing area (Photo, Etch, Films, etc.)
Leads the most complex problems and serves as top level support for junior engineers in the company.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field of study and 10+ years manufacturing industry-related experience.
Experience developing on multiple software platforms & technologies.
C#, C++, java, SQL or python.
Project Management and technical documentation skills.
US Citizenship Required:
This position will require the holding of or ability to obtain government security clearance which requires U.S Citizenship.
