Associate Pharmacy Technician at Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR.

Full-Time/ Multiple Shift (Mon - Friday and every other weekend anywhere from 6 am - 11:
15 pm)

Associate Pharmacy tech at Providence The Acute Care Pharmacy Tech I performs duties relating to the filling and dispensing of unit dose and stock medications from the pharmacy to the nursing units and other ancillary departments in a prompt accurate manner.
Fill/dispense oral and IV medications, triaging patient orders and maintaining the integrity of the Pyxis Profile System.

Required Qualifications:

• H.S.
  Diploma or GED.
  
• Oregon Certified Oregon Pharmacy Technician upon hire.
  Or
• Oregon Pharmacy Technician License upon hire.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• Coursework/Training Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician program.
  
• Inpatient experience.
  
• Previous experience with Automated Dispensing Machines (ADMs) and electronic health records (EHR).
