Portable Diagnostic Sonographer and RVT

How You'll Make an Impact:

As a Portable Diagnostic Sonographer and RVT, you will provide on-demand, in-home diagnostic echocardiographic scans using portable equipment for patients across various settings.
What You'll Do:
Perform echocardiography studies in community-based locations using a company vehicle.
Follow established protocols and procedures while conducting echo exams.
Demonstrate competence in performing echocardiographic studies based on established protocols and procedures.
Consider the age-specific physiological, emotional, and cognitive needs of the patient during echo exams.
Ensure the complete acquisition of images for clinical diagnosis by the interpreting cardiologist.
Collect or verify all required order documentation and patient information prior to procedures.
Prepare and position patients for diagnostic imaging exams.
Process and review images for proper identification and quality control.
Transmit images and associated documentation to cardiologists in a timely manner.
Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed according to standard protocols.
Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading cardiologists, and customer support functions.
Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
What You Need:
Satisfactory completion of an accredited non-invasive cardiovascular training program with a focus in adult echocardiography and/or vascular ultrasound studies.
ARDMS registered in adult echocardiography with RDCS (AE) designation OR CCI registered with Cardiac Sonographer designation required.
Two (2) years' experience as a cardiac sonographer or vascular tech preferred.
Additional Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) desired.
Must have the ability to prioritize and organize daily assignments.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to lift and carry equipment and supplies up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
