THE CITY OF LEAWOOD, KANSAS is looking for a
Head Pool Manager
Are you ideal for working as a Head Pool Manager at the Leawood Aquatic?
Do you have a high school diploma or equivalent?
Are you 18 years of age OR older?
Possess a strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills?
Are you reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team environment?
Are you ready to make some extra money for the summer?
Do you have cash-handling experience?
Do you have experience in managing employees?
What about managing employees at a pool or aquatic facility?
As the Head Pool Manager, you will work:
Approximately 30 hours per week between 7 am and 10 pm.
Weekdays, nights, weekends, and one to two holidays.
The Pool Season runs from May to September.
A few of the things you will be doing include:
Scheduling various aquatic staff shifts to ensure the pool is staffed and running smoothly.
Ensuring aquatic staff complete their required responsibilities.
Assisting cashiers with processing pool admissions, season passes, concessions sales, and end-of-day procedures.
Testing water and chemical levels, adding chemicals to the pool and maintaining necessary records.
Ensuring the aquatic center remains clean and clear of trash and debris.
