Role Summary:
The PCMS Business Process Sr Specialistis responsible for leading all PCMS related work activities for VWGoA and its assigned Organizational Units (OUs). These responsibilities include leading the auditing program, preparing and updating PCMS policies, implementing processes and internal regulations, establishing binding obligations, defining system interfaces with the PCMS, providing advisory support, establishing reporting channels, and ensuring solutions for high level PCMS conflicts.
The PCMS Business Process Sr Specialistwill also define and assign tasks and allocate adequate resources for PCMS projects within the internal team.
The PCMS Business Process Sr Specialist will act as the coordinator for all PCMS advisory topics and will be the gate-keeper for PCMS related Jira tickets in Jira project management system.
The position reports to the PCMS Manager. The position supports Agile, Automation, and AI activities within VW GoA PCMS in conjunction with VW AG Wolfsburg/VW de Mexico and is the internal point of contact regarding change management and IT modernization activities, including development of SharePoint, Power Automate, PowerBI, and Power Apps initiatives.
Role Responsibilities:
Main responsibility - 80% of the time
Responsible for leading the PCMS OU Coordination and audit program
Prepares and updates the PCMS guideline and all relevant PCMS policies
Implements processes and internal PCMS regulations for all VWGoA Organizational Units
Establishes binding obligations for all PCMS OUs
Defines interfaces with PCMS related management systems and organizational units
Responsible for managing the PCMS system integration with other IT interfaces
Serves as PCMS advisor for OUs and internal team
Coordinator for all PCMS advisory topics
Serves as PCMS team lead as needed; aligns internal team resources and assigns responsibilities for PCMS projects within the team
Establishes reporting and follow-up channels for the PCMS program
Finds solutions for high-level PCMS related conflicts
Responsible for change management and process improvements within the PCMS team
Automates and streamlines processes for the PCMS environment
Serves as Power Automate, PowerBI, and Power Apps developer when needed to provide robust IT solutions for the PCMS team and its OUs
Any additional tasks as assigned by the PCMS manager
Additional responsibilities - 20% of the time
Project Management Expertise - integrating various timing schedules to identify and mitigate timing slips.
Plans and executes workshops with different stakeholders if necessary.
Tracks project status in detail and informs management on regular basis.
Escalates issues early to stakeholders, if needed.
Serves as SharePoint developer and administrator for the PCMS team, when needed, to provide modernized IT solutions to information sharing within the PCMS program
Qualifications
Years of Experience:
7 - 10+ years of experience in Project Management with 5+ years of experience in Technical Development or IT Project Management in the Automotive or similar industry
Education - Required
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or relevant field
Education - Desired:
Master's degree in Engineering or IT

Skilled in data analytics, spreadsheet preparation, and data visualization tools
Strong computer skills; primarily but not limited to Microsoft Office Tools
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Strong automation and process improvement skills
Strong Microsoft Power Platform development skills (Power Automate, PowerBI, and Power Apps)
Strong development & administration skills in SharePoint
Specialized Skills - Desired:
Ability to motivate, communicate and conflict resolution as a project manager
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment including managing multiple tasks
Extensive knowledge on internal PCMS processes, procedures, & regulations
Strong background in IT systems integration
Work Flexibility:
Domestic / International travel required, up to 15%
Must be available to contact colleagues at European locations during varying hours
Ability to work flexible and extended hours as work load requires
Work schedule based on business requirements (min. 40 hours / week) including occasional Saturday and occasional overtime
Occasionally walk, stand, or stoop and be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 25 pounds.

Ability to do Telework as well as in person primarily at Chattanooga plant/EPC
