Position Description
This is a part time role working 8-10 hour days on Monday and Thursday
General safety duties. Employee interaction, attend safety & pre-job meetings, plant walkdowns to identify safety concerns, evaluate job sites for potential safety issues, coordinate with EHS manager on site for reporting.
Education and Experience
Inspecting: Checking work environments, equipment, and practices to ensure compliance with safety regulations
Lead, coordinate and participate in safety meetings
Familiarity with OSHA standards / regulations
Analyzing, creating and implementing procedures to prevent or control risks to workers
Educating: Teaching workers and employers about workplace safety
Recommending changes to ensure compliance with safety requirements
