Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a full-time Paramedic position. Bonus amount prorated for part-time hires. Per diem hires are ineligible.
Current MaineHealth employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth member employees are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
Position Summary
The Paramedic provides both basic and advanced life support during emergency pre-hospital and inter-facility transfer care to patients when indicated by the patient's injury or illness in accordance with state and local protocols
Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Education:
Maine Paramedic license. Valid Maine driver's license. AVOC/EVOC required within six months of employment. CPR (AHA). IS100/700. PIFT Certified. License/Certifications:
