Duties, Responsibilities & Other:

KCI Technologies Transportation team is hiring an Engineer-in-Training to join our Pittsburgh, PA office.

Assist in the development of multiple construction plans for transportation projects. These duties will be performed under the supervision of a senior project engineer or project manager.

Perform work which involves conventional types of plans, investigations, surveys, structures, or equipment. Assignments usually include engineering calculations, interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications, and assistance with proposal preparation.

Design and preparation of construction drawings for various transportation projects.

The ideal candidate will posses these preferred qualifications:

General Knowledge and/or experience with MicroStation, AutoCAD,

Candidate must have good communication and technical writing skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

EIT certification or ability to obtain in 1 year is required

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree required. Appropriate professional certification preferred.

Minimum of 0-2 year's experience.
