Network Technician
for a
Contract-to-hire
opportunity with a large healthcare organization in
Philadelphia, PA .
Responsibilities for the Network Technician:
Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operation.
Monitor network performance, and reliability making sure to implement updates and improvements as needed.
Work with EUS Technician to provide End-User support connectivity and wireless related concerns
Requirements for the Network Technician:
Proven experience as a Network Technician.
Clear knowledge of network protocols especially TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and VLANS
Familiarity with Network Equipment that are common to today changing
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network issues efficiently
Effective communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with Technicians and End-users
Ability to work between multiple local sites and take care of issues as needed
Relevant certifications ( e.g, CompTIA Network+, CCNA) would be a real advantage.
Compensation for the Network Technician:
Targeting $20-$25/hr depending on experience
Contract-to-hire opportunity
