As our nationwide growth accelerates, our Accounting team in Mechanicsburg, PA plays a key role in driving forward our mission of Bringing Happiness to Every Home®.
As a Corporate Controller at West Shore Home®, you will contribute to this mission by ensuring there is effective collaboration that will deliver accurate and compliant financial reporting for the corporate records overall.

What You'll Contribute
In this role, you can expect to:

• oversee the accounting and reporting function consisting of the monthly closing process, general ledger, and payroll for the corporate general ledger of the Company.
• Responsible to assist in coordinating the quarterly and annual audit process.
• Control to streamline the entire monthly close process while ensuring everyone involved understands their responsibilities and is executing them properly.
• Facilitate relationships with external auditors, third party tax providers, and all internal audit functions to ensure that proper coordination occurs as needed.

What It Takes to Succeed
At West Shore Home, we are Default Aggressive towards our goals and take Extreme Ownership of our results.
We'll provide you with the training and tools to set you up for success, and we hope that you'll bring:

• Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or related field; MBA preferred
• CPA or CMA required
• Minimum 6 years of experience required, with at least 4 years in a role equivalent to division, product, or corporate controller preferably in a public company
• Minimum 5 years managerial experience required
• Excellent analytical and abstract reasoning skill with excellent organization skills
• Demonstrated leadership ability, team management, and interpersonal skills
• Proven decision-making skills with ability to manage under pressure
• Must have a valid smart phone or smart device in order to log in to Company required systems using two-factor authentication
