As a Liquor Store General Manager 2A, you will be tasked with supervising, managing, and directing activities in a state-owned Fine Wine & Good Spirits store. You will have the opportunity to lead store teams in driving sales and brand loyalty, setting expectations, providing exceptional customer service, as well as recruiting and developing top retail talent. As General Manager, you will be responsible for implementing and applying policies and procedures to store operations; assigning and evaluating work; as well as promoting good customer relations. This position is accountable for the entire store operation which includes sales, store maintenance, merchandise and cash accounting, maintenance of records, and all related functions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly
Work hours vary from 7:
00 AM to 10:
00 PM, Sunday - Saturday.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

One year as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 2 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1B; or
Two years as a Liquor Store Assistant Manager 1 or a Liquor Store General Manager 1A; or
Three years as a Liquor Store Clerk 2; or
Three years of lead or supervisory retail sales work.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code. Other criminal convictions will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
