PRIMARY PURPOSE: To install decking and drill for plumbing, electrical and other openings

JOB DUTIES:

Lay out floor joists according to order

Fasten joist to perimeter rail per DAPIA

Check houses for high or uneven

Run glue gun full length of joists

Install heat duct crossovers

Load decking onto house and secure to joists and side rail according to specs

Rout edges of decking all around house Sign traveler when job has been completed

Maintain acceptable level of quality Clean area daily

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Must be at least 18 years old

SAFETY / ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS:

Uncontrolled climate Insulation, sawdust Water base paint and water base glue may be inhaled

EQUIPMENT / MACHINES USED:

Hoist and Crane Skill Saw Router

Glue Pump Nail and Staple Guns General hand tools

Personal Protective Equipment

TEST REQUIRED:

Drug Screen Hearing Test

COGNITIVE SKILLS:

Good reasoning skills Be able to read blue prints and tape measure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

No sitting except breaks and lunch Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds

Must have normal use of hands Be able to work bent over 50% of the time.

Must be able to climb on and off houses constantly
