THE POSITION
A thrilling chance has emerged for the position of an administrative and technical Business Analyst 2 in the business application development division of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation's Driver and Vehicle Services Program Management Office. DESCRIPTION OF WORK
In this position, you will be responsible for overseeing and actively participating in the entire system development life cycle for various applications. Your role will involve leading a team tasked with developing test scripts, creating comprehensive documentation, and conducting defect analysis for our titling and registration applications. You will also be in charge of coordinating resources for testing initiatives and managing essential administrative functions, including project planning, formulating test plans, gathering requirements, and providing updates on project status.

You will be expected to produce clear and concise status reports for executive management, business units, vendors, and other stakeholders, detailing the progress, challenges, and significant events related to ongoing enhancement and defect resolution efforts. Your responsibilities will include engaging in both verbal and written communication with external management personnel, serving as a liaison between the staff implementing system changes and the coding team. Additionally, you will participate in analytical tasks that support the integration of electronic data processing methods across various applications, as well as conducting studies on work measurements, work simplification, and the effective utilization of manpower.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment
Work hours are 8:
00 AM to 4:
30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
May be required to work when a full-day and/or partial-day office closing is authorized. To include but not limited to, early dismissals for inclement weather; the day before holidays; special holiday closings.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

Five years of business process analysis experience; or
One year as a Business Analyst 1; or
One year as an Information Technology Trainee; or
One year of business process analysis experience and a bachelor's degree; or
An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
