006206 Please note, this is a Full Time Position - 72 Hours Biweekly, and requires bi-weekly and holiday rotation.
Performs a variety of general cleaning tasks to maintain patient rooms, offices, hallways and other assigned areas.
The position includes, but is not limited to the following essential functions.
Essential Functions :
Creates an aesthetically pleasing environment for our customers.
Performs cleaning procedures in accordance with Infection Control and Hospital policies.
Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the core values of the Hospital.
Qualifications Education/Training Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent or 3 years' experience required Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and effectively Ability to problem solve, ability to understand and explain job expectations and duties Exhibits a kind, friendly manner in communication with others, and the ability to meet the physical requirements of the position Experience Requirements:
2-3 years of housekeeping/customer service experience in healthcare or the hospitality industry preferred but not required Conditions of Employment Covid Vaccination is a requirement for employment at Jefferson for employees working at Jefferson's clinical entities or at the University.
If you are not currently vaccinated you will be required to receive the vaccination prior to hire date if you are offered employment, unless you request and receive an approved medical or religious exemption from Jefferson.
