Job Summary:
LUMA is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to oversee and lead our compliance initiatives. As the Compliance Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining an effective compliance program to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. The Compliance Manager will be part of a team committed to maintaining the highest standards of compliance and ethical conduct.

Assist in the development and implementation of a company-wide compliance program to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
Stay up to date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to develop and recommend policies and procedures that align with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Conduct risk assessments to identify potential compliance issues and develop strategies to mitigate those risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish and enforce compliance processes and protocols throughout the organization.
Provide guidance and education to employees regarding compliance policies, procedures, and training.
Develop monitoring systems to evaluate compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
Investigate and address any compliance issues, incidents, or concerns that may arise and develop corrective action plans as needed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for external compliance related audits, regulatory inquiries, and inspections, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
Build and nurture effective relationships with regulatory bodies, industry organizations, and other stakeholders to stay abreast of changes in compliance requirements.
Produce regular reports for senior management and relevant stakeholders on the status of compliance initiatives, including identified risks, ongoing compliance activities, and remediation efforts.
Perform major storm restoration work and associated drills as assigned.
Follow all policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.

Additional Education and experience:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, or a related field,
Juris Doctor is preferred
A master's degree and relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Compliance and Ethics Professional) is preferred.
Proficient in the Spanish and English language with the ability to read, write and speak.
5 years of experience in a leadership role.
5 years of experience working in compliance area.
Competent and knowledgeable with programs and applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Google Docs & SharePoint.

Travel Requirements:

30% aproximadamente
