Ability to properly identify and retrieve tools for the scheduled job.Proficiency in using hand measurement instruments (micrometers, indicators, calipers, thread gages, pin gages) to determine part conformance to specifications.
Ability to replace broken/worn tooling and make proper tool offsets.Competence in reading basic part drawings.Must be able to do basic daily maintenance of equipment.Must be able to assist in long-term maintenance of equipment.Must be able to trouble-shoot drilling and tapping problems.Proficiency in Operating more piece of equipment at a time.
Moves oily product from tapping machine area to a skid or cart.Tags containers to ensure product traceability.Understanding of the company Quality Policy and the role that the Operator plays in furthering the goals of that policy.Must exhibit an understanding of, and conformance to, the cultural principles of Sherex Fastening Solutions.Safely, efficiently, and effectively makes product and communicates with set up person, team leader and team members to assist in meeting goals.Participates in team meetings and works well with team members.
Actively participates in continuous improvement activities to assist team in meeting goals.Observe all safety regulations in all duties.Performs other duties as required.
