Overview:
Allied Wire & Cable (AWC), a GCG Company, is currently hiring a 2nd Shift Shipping Associate to join our growing team in Collegeville, PA! In this role, you will prepare and manage shipping orders & paperwork, perform quality control, and ensure all orders are shipped accurately and efficiently.

Hours: 2:00PM-10:30PM M-F
Pay Rate: $20/hr ($19/hr + $1 shift differential) + full benefits

What You'll Do
Handle paperwork, prepare shipping documents (BOLs, invoices, packing slips), and schedule LTL carriers for pickups
Work alongside our sales team to provide freight quotes, weights and dimensions, and answer emails regarding production requests or inquires
Stage and track carrier shipments
Process packages in computer and sort by carrier and compare package labeling
Operate forklift, order picker, pallet jacks, and other machinery
Assist with general shipping/warehouse duties as needed
What You'll Bring
Experience in a warehouse shipping role required
Attention to detail
Basic math skills (percentages) and computer skills (email/data entry)
Ability to read micrometers, calibrators, and specs
Physical dexterity to handle regular lifting and movement
Collaborative mindset and willingness to learn
