El ingeniero de calidad Sr., es el encargado de establecer planes tcticos y administra recursos eficientemente para para el cumplimiento de los objetivos de calidad de la planta, as como el mantenimiento de las certificaciones de calidad.
El ingeniero de calidad Sr. debe ser capaz tomar de decisiones y negociar con otros departamentos desde un punto de vista estratgico para el beneficio de la planta conservando la integridad del sistema de calidad eliminando riesgos de calidad en el producto.
El ingeniero de calidad Sr. debe ser un trabajador de equipo eficiente en su comunicacin oral y escrita en espaol e ingls para evitar problemas y un lder para los grupos de trabajo en lo referente a trabajos y disciplinas referentes a la calidad.
El ingeniero de calidad Sr., cuando se asignado, deber tomar e implementar los controles necesarios en la introduccin de nuevos productos (NPD/NPI), Cambios de ingeniera (ECN), Desviaciones (DR) y Acciones correctivas (CI, 8d, etc) con clientes as como ser la interfase con el cliente en cuestiones de calidad.
