SGMC Health seeks an Orthopedics Physician to provide high-quality healthcare in South Georgia and North Florida.
The position offers a full-time schedule with competitive compensation and a collaborative environment focused on patient care and process improvement.

SGMC Health is the most comprehensive health system serving South Georgia and North Florida.
SGMC Health operates four hospitals across Lowndes, Berrien, and Lanier counties.
The system also operates ambulance services, an extensive medical office network, a cancer center, hospice facility, retirement center, skilled nursing facility, imaging centers and urgent cares.
Service lines of regional prominence include heart and vascular, stroke, trauma, cancer, orthopedics, surgery, and women and infants.

Position Description:
Full-time position
Monday Friday, 8-5pm
Shared call
Hospital based employment

Qualifications:
Board eligible/certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in the State of Georgia
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively within an inter-disciplinary team and with referring physicians to provide high quality patient care
Passionate about quality, service excellence, safety, process improvement, program development and team building.
Experience with the EPIC electronic medical record is a significant plus.
Possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Proven ability to create a positive and productive environment that promotes collegiality and innovation in all settings
