The Lift Electrical Apprentice's chief responsibility is the safety and reliability of our lifts. This team member requires a strong electrical/mechanical skill set and is committed to professionalism and teamwork. We are a learning organization; the Lift Electrical Apprentice will be involved in assisting lift electrical technician in all duties and assisting lift maintenance in daily operational needs. The Lift Electrical Apprentice will primarily be responsible for electrical maintenance both preventative and unscheduled along with LE technician, working closely with lift maintenance team under daily direction of lift maintenance manager. May also work with facilities electrical department under direction of facilities electrician to accomplish goals and special projects as required. Specific tasks and procedures related to electrical preventative maintenance and repair of lift electrical components will be monitored by supervising electrician.

This is a Full-Time, Year-Round, Benefitted positionQualifications:

19 years of age or older.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience in the electrical field or relevant education.
Ability to meet company driver insurance standards.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work weekends and holidays during the winter season.
Comfort with working in extreme weather conditions and high elevations.
Ability to enroll in and pass the LME apprentice program.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Leitner-POMA detachable lift systems.
Understanding of PLC ladder logic programming.
Previous experience in electrical work.

Physical Requirements:

Lift up to 75 lbs without assistance.
Work at heights, including on lift towers.
Navigate rugged, snow-covered terrain.
Exposure to extreme temperatures, weather conditions, and mechanical vibrations.

Work Environment:

85% Outdoor, mountain environment with frequent extreme winter conditions
15% Indoor office/shop environment
Working and walking on ice- and snow-covered surfaces
Frequent walking, including climbing and descending stairs
Climbing ladders and lift towers
Extended periods of working on top of lift towers while in extreme winter conditions
Confined spaces
Occasionally very loud noise levels in work areas
Snowmobile and ski/snowboard use
Works around moving machinery
Frequent exposure to and must be able to work safely in extreme temperature variations, outside weather conditions, including snow, sleet, freezing rain, heat, moving mechanical parts, risk of electrical shock, and exposure to vibration.
