Med/Surg Tele Float - COVID UNIT
• Certs: BLS required
• 2 years Med Surg/Tele experience required
• travel experience required
• teaching facility experience highly preferred
• Ratios: average is 1:5-6, nights will be 1:6-7, could be more depending on acuity (No cap)
• Floating: First to Float and must be willing to float
• May cancel 3 shifts during a 13 week assignment. May cancel 2 shifts if less than a 13 week assignment
• Strong IV Skills preferred
• 5 West: 36 Beds, 12 private and 24 double occupancy, 1 negative pressure room
• 5 West types of patients: Chest pain rule outs, Psych- SI, Altered MS, Renal
• 5 East: 46 beds
• 5 East types of patients: Chest pain, new onset of Afib, pacemaker, cardiac abnormalities, CHF, renal failure, pneumonia, COPD.
• 6 East: 44 beds, double occupancy
• 6 East type of patients: Acute Kidney, Dialysis, Wound Care, Psych holds
