Responsibilities:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Medical Secretary/Front Desk Check-in Receptionist with a strong knowledge of medical terminology and familiarity with hospital, clinic, or laboratory procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for various administrative duties that ensure smooth operations within a healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Schedule patient appointments and medical procedures efficiently.
Manage patient billing and insurance claims processing.
Compile, record, and maintain accurate medical charts, reports, and correspondence.
Support healthcare staff with administrative tasks to enhance patient care.
Qualifications:
Proficiency in medical terminology.
Previous experience in a medical office, clinic, or laboratory preferred.
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: One (1) plus year of medical office experience preferred.
