We are excited to invite a Board-Certified Neurologist to join our mission in conducting Compensation and Pension (C&P) exams for U.S.
military veterans.
This role offers the unique opportunity to travel throughout the United States, providing essential evaluations for veterans with neurological conditions.
You will assess and diagnose various conditions including Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) , Multiple Sclerosis (MS) , seizure disorders , stroke , and other neurological disorders, ensuring veterans receive the disability benefits they have earned.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct C&P exams for veterans experiencing neurological issues such as headaches , TBI , seizure disorders , multiple sclerosis , stroke , and Parkinson's disease .
Perform thorough neurological evaluations , reviewing the veteran's medical history and conducting physical examinations that assess cognitive function, motor skills, reflexes, and more.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests including MRI scans , CT scans , EEGs , and nerve conduction studies to identify underlying neurological issues.
Compile detailed medical reports that describe the severity of neurological conditions, their impact on daily life, and their connection to military service.
Travel to numerous locations across the U.S.
to conduct multiple examinations, maximizing travel efficiency.
Qualifications
Board-certified neurologist with an active, unrestricted medical license in the U.S.
Demonstrated experience in performing neurological exams , diagnosing conditions, and delivering comprehensive medical assessments.
Familiarity with C&P exam procedures and VA disability guidelines is preferred but not required.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on producing clear and concise medical reports.
Compassionate and professional approach when interacting with veterans.
Willingness to travel extensively across the United States to perform exams in various regions.
