The Senior Project Manager - Highways will provide senior level technical direction, mentoring, and input to junior and intermediate staff, contribute to management initiatives, and serve as a key contact with clients.
Experience in a PM role with MTO is required, in addition to liaising with regulatory agencies, networking with other professionals and new business development.
Location - Toronto, ON.
Can consider elsewhere in ON if the candidate is willing to do significant travel to Central ON.Your role within the team:

Manage Highway Design projects in Ontario, leading a team of engineers, designers, other disciplines and consultants as required on a project basis to meet MTO requirements
Maintain project budgets, schedules, risk registers and communications with project team, client staff and project stakeholders
Lead technical proposals for highway design pursuits and similar transportation engineering work
Ensure all deliverables meet client requirements and all applicable standards, codes and regulations
Maintain required quality system standards and procedures, and embrace and actively support behaviour-based workplace health and safety policies

The ideal candidate:

Civil Engineering degree and licensed as a P.Eng.
in Ontario
Possess expert level highway engineering knowledge and skills recognized by the Ministry of Transportation Ontario, sufficient for approval in MTO RAQS
Minimum 10 years experience in provincial highway design multidisciplinary projects
Minimum 3 years experience in multidisciplinary highway design projects being recognized as Project Manager by MTO
Proven expertise with AutoCAD, OpenRoads, and other relevant industry-standard tools
Valid driver's license and vehicle
