PRIMARY FUNCTION:

The Manager of Annual & Corporate Giving is responsible for planning and implementing strategies for the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of individual, corporate, foundation, and some in-kind donors to support Boys & Girls Clubs of Toledo (BGCT). This position will oversee direct solicitation strategies and develop and manage various giving societies. The position will be responsible for developing and maintaining Alumni outreach and corporate/young professional affinity groups. The Director will focus on moving donors through the BGCT annual giving program with the goal of increasing their annual support of gifts to $25,000. The Manager's portfolio will include major gift prospects, corporate donors, and first-time donors.

• Plan and execute steps for donor identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship for gifts up to $25,000 from individuals giving non-designated gifts to the annual fund.
• Establish a pipeline of annual giving donors and major gift donors.
• Support and work with the Director of Development to establish benchmarks and regular reporting processes to measure the results of all annual fund activities.
• Work closely with the Development team to develop and manage consistent messaging to donors and prospects that align with solicitation and donor-specific stewardship communications.
• Manage a portfolio of $300K of individual donors and prospects.
• Work effectively with the Development team to identify new donors and build strategies for engaging and encouraging donors to give at higher levels.

• Works with the Director of Development to identify, cultivate, and increase corporate donors to all campaigns.
• Focus on both small and medium-sized businesses and their gifts to BGCT
• Maintain and grow annual sponsors for special events and manage outreach campaigns.
• Transition event donors into annual donors.

• Lead and support stewardship activities related to annual fund donors.
• Partner with the Coordinator Development & events in planning and executing donor cultivation activities and touchpoints
• Write and update acknowledgment letter templates.

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferably in marketing, advertising, communications, or a related field.
• 5+ years of demonstrated experience creating successful integrated donor cultivation and giving campaigns.
• Existing individual and corporate donor contacts and relationships in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.
• Proficient in both the of strategic donor development and execution of strategy.
• Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable making 'asks' of both new and existing donors.
• Proficient with donor database software (ie Salesforce, Bloomerang, or similar. ) and Microsoft 365.
• Excellent ability to think on their toes, assess and think through obstacles - a problem-solver.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

• This is a full-time, exempt position. Hours are typically Monday through Friday, and may include evenings and weekends.
