Provide Technical Leadership for all daily Supplier/Plant Issues which require containment, handwork, multi part investigation, quick countermeasures to reduce/eliminate plant impact for GDP and Downtime while supporting SOM/Supplier investigation through accurate report generation.
Responsibilities include:
Lead NARS report correlation for all HDMA Plants to assure report and cost accuracy Managing associates for all high time and high impact repair projects Responsible for all incoming new hire and EDP training/mentorship plan Technical Leader to assure parts meet drawing and specifications to assure conformance Responsible to lead Body/Chassis supplier quality engineers to assure problem containment of parts and completed body units Responsible for reviewing the previous shifts reports, and completing full investigation Daily confirmation of sort effectiveness of current quality concerns Who we are seeking:
Required Work Experience:
8-10 years based on education Required Education:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering field or 10 years equivalent experience Desired skills:
Quality assurance, blueprint reading, part measurement, Catia/3D, MS office proficient, negotiation and communication skills Working Conditions:
Open Office Environment, walking, sorting parts, limited travel, and overtime possible (Approximately 4 hours of overtime per week) Additional Position Factors:
