Key Responsibilities:

Analyze blueprints, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates.
Assess material, labor, equipment, and timelines to develop competitive bids for projects ranging from $50k to $3M.
Collaborate with clients, architects, and project managers to align on project goals and expectations.
Manage take-offs, build bids, and oversee estimates from initiation to completion.
Visit project sites to gather necessary data and evaluate potential risks or challenges.
Oversee change orders and adapt estimates to meet evolving project requirements.
Stay informed about industry trends, pricing, and advancements to provide cost-effective solutions.
Mentor and guide team members, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and success.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in commercial and industrial concrete estimating or related construction roles.
Strong knowledge of concrete construction processes, including slab-on-grade, multi-family, foundations, truck paving, and pads.
Proficiency in Planswift, Excel, and other estimating tools.
Hands-on field experience as a concrete finisher is a strong advantage but not required.
Ability to calculate labor, materials, and risks while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
Exceptional organizational and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and present detailed proposals.
Marketing and networking experience to generate leads and capitalize on warm opportunities is a plus.
