CANDIDATES MUST BE LICENSED AS PARAMEDIC in the State of Ohio PRIOR TO APPLYING.

Essential Functions:

Operate under the guidelines of assignment of personnel to units
Address service-related concerns, participate in investigations, and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
Candidate must be reliable
Excellent oral and written communication skills, to include:
customer service and patient care skills, and documentation of work performed
Work well in a group setting
Comply with assumed Paramedic appearance standards
Promote safety and security measures, making recommendations for improvements and taking immediate action when necessary; comply with accident and injury reporting

Required Education and Experience:

Current PARAMEDIC license in the State of Ohio, in good standing
High School diploma, or equivalent
Ability to pass a driving record screening is preferred
Serve as a lead on ALS calls

Physical Requirements

Standing, walking, sitting, lifting/carrying up to 150lbs unassisted, pushing, pulling, climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching
Memorization/concentration, learning/knowledge retention, preparing/analyzing data, use of interfaced communication devices (phones, computers, radios, etc), emotional and behavioral self-regulation, interacting with others, high stress situations
Able to manage dangerous situations, emergency situations, incarcerated individuals, animals, comprehension, organization, and decision-making.
