Our client, in the pharmaceutical space, is looking to add a Sr.
Manager of Social Media and Public Relations to their team.
This is a contract role with the intention of going full-time.
This role would be remote, working EST hours.
Must have pharmaceutical experience to be considered The Senior Manager of Social Media and Public Relations leads the company external communications strategy.
This roles is responsible for in demand generation, social media management, and public relations within the pharmaceutical or pharmacy sectors.
This role will drive brand visibility, foster meaningful engagements, and execute comprehensive strategies that align with our business objectives.
Role Responsibilities:

• Strategic Leadership
• Develop and execute an integrated social media and PR strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives and enhances brand equity.
• Lead demand generation initiatives through innovative digital campaigns that convert engagement into measurable outcomes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align PR and social media strategies with overarching marketing and sales goals.
• Social Media Management
• Oversee the creation, scheduling, and execution of multi-platform social media campaigns.
• Analyse performance metrics and refine strategies to improve engagement, follower growth, and ROI.
• Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and competitor activities on social platforms.
• Public Relations
• Build and manage relationships with media, influencers, and key stakeholders.
• Craft compelling press releases, media pitches, and thought leadership content.
• Content Strategy:

• Collaborate with internal teams to create a consistent and authentic brand voice across all channels.
• Develop high-quality presentations and materials for external and internal communications.
• Analytics & Reporting:

• Establish KPIs for social media and PR activities; monitor performance and provide actionable insights.
• Present regular reports on campaign effectiveness to senior leadership, ensuring alignment with business goals
• Experience:
o 8-15 years of experience in social media management, public relations, or integrated communications roles.
• Background in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or pharmacy sectors.
• Demonstrated expertise in demand generation and strategic marketing planning.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and the ability to create compelling presentations for diverse audiences.
• Skills:
o Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a flair for storytelling.
• Strong project management capabilities, with the ability to lead multiple campaigns simultaneously.
• Data-driven mindset with experience in analytics tools to measure and optimize campaign performance.
• Expertise in social media platforms, PR tools, and emerging technologies in digital communications.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, DemandBase and Oktopost a plus
• Leadership Attributes:
