Product Owner (Data Focus)
Location: Columbus, OH (Hybrid - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Candidate Preference: Local to Columbus, OH, or nearby areas.
Work Authorization: W2 only
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand, interpret, and work with complex data sets.
Excel: Advanced proficiency in Excel for data manipulation, analysis, and reporting.
Product/Project Management: Experience in product ownership or project management, with a focus on data-driven initiatives.
Documentation: Excellent documentation skills to clearly articulate requirements, specifications, and project plans.
Communication: Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with a proactive and confident approach.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
AWS Certification: AWS certifications are a plus, demonstrating a commitment to cloud technologies.
Agile Experience: Experience working in an Agile environment, ideally with Scrum or Kanban methodologies.
Responsibilities:
Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze data to identify trends, insights, and opportunities, informing product development and strategic decisions.
Product Backlog Management: Prioritize and manage the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business objectives and stakeholder needs.
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and document detailed requirements.
Project Planning: Develop and execute project plans, managing timelines, resources, and budgets.
Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between business and technical teams.
AWS Migration: Contribute to the migration of on-premises data solutions to AWS.
Snowflake Transition (Future): Prepare for and potentially contribute to the future migration to Snowflake.
