To support our continued market growth and industry leadership, we are looking for talented candidates to fill several new Product Line Manager (PLM) positions aligned with our C5ISR Modular Solutions business unit which develops Curtiss-Wright's most advanced embedded electronics.

As our Product Line Manager, you will be part of a Product Management team responsible for the overall success of the entire C5ISR product portfolio and be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for specific product lines and application areas, such as:
mission processing, signal processing, HPEC processing architectures, CPU/FPGA/GPU and networking technologies, and emerging embedded edge AI processing systems.
As the overall technical and product subject matter expert you will also help grow the business through participation in bids, proposals, and technical reviews.

A Senior PLM with direct experience associated with High Performance Embedded Computing (HPEC) and embedded signal processing systems.
Strong working knowledge of data processing workflows, high performance CPU architectures, FPGA technology and accelerated GPU processing experience are highly desirable.
Responsibilities:

Responsible for the commercial success of our embedded product lines, overseeing them from inception, through market research, design, build, launch, growth, enhancement and eventual sunset.
Ensure that our products and solutions provide market differentiation through features, price, services, support or other key customer value propositions, resulting in increased market share and revenue growth.
Develop and implement strategies for existing and new products and prepare business cases that include ROI models, pricing and profit strategies.
Work with Engineering leads, CTOs and marketing teams to define and develop solutions to emerging market needs.
Provide Engineering with well-defined feature, cost and product level requirements and support them during the technical development of products.
Oversee product development lifecycles to ensure that Time to Market (TTM), Design to Cost (DTC), development costs and maximized ROI are maintained.
Manage the ongoing health of product lines through regular sales forecast and design win reviews, margin monitoring and pricing adjustments.
Seek out and develop partner relationships to increase the value proposition of our products.
Work with Sales, Business Development, Bids, and Contracts to build customer relationships and negotiate deals.
Provide systems analysis of customer requirements and provide technical and marketing input on solution proposals.
Drive third-party collaborative product development and support cooperative marketing/sales activities.
Participate in industry working groups to contribute and gain insights to industry open standards evolution.
What You Bring:

A relevant hardware and/or software Engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
A minimum of 7 years relevant experience in Product or Engineering Management, or deeply technical Product Marketing.
US citizenship residence, and either an existing US security clearance or the ability to obtain and maintain security clearance to Secret level within 24 months.
Demonstrated ability to understand target market needs and drive the creation of innovative products.
Proven success in identifying business opportunities and developing their potential.
A good understanding of product, market & marketing strategy development.
A working knowledge of our technology, system architecture, hardware, software and related support requirements within the Defense and Aerospace markets.
Skills:

A highly motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial and innovative spirit.
Strong business acumen and a keen understanding of the business implications of technical decisions.
Ability to analyze complex data and present it clearly.
Knowledge of embedded computing systems architecture, hardware, software and usability in the military/aerospace industry.
Must be willing to travel frequently in support of customers and industry events.
