What you will do:

As our Design Engineer Coordinator, you will work with the Design Engineering team to ensure our quality standards are met in the design of our engineered panels.
You will also be responsible for supervising our Associate Design Engineers and Designer Drafters and assist with the generation of required drawings and operational descriptions for our engineered panels that help control and monitor one of the world's most valuable and limited resources- Water! This position works at our Ashland, OH location.

The Job:

Every day you will review and validate designs by conducting technical reviews of project design specifications and drawings, to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with customer specifications, industry standards and company guidelines.
You will identify opportunities for process improvements in design and quality control and contribute to the development and implementation of enhanced procedures.
You will work to train and mentor Design Engineers on quality standards and best practices in design engineering and provide positive leadership and encourage support for corporate unity.
At times you may also provide technical support for customers and field start-ups as well as to production workers, including layout, wiring, and testing.

The skills you need:

To thrive in this job, you must have experience with designing industrial controls, creating schematics using AutoCAD Electrical, and familiarity with UL508/698A, CSA, NEC and NFPA standards and their application.
You must have previous experience with managing people, working with deadlines, and be comfortable leading others and handling day-to-day responsibilities for your team.
A 2-year Electrical Engineering degree with 4-6 years of experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
