Description:
At St. Joseph's Health the Onsite Virtual Registered Nurse integrates the experienced Registered Nurse with Telemedicine into the acute inpatient care model, a new and exciting Virtual Connected Care Model allowing for superior patient monitoring, expert nursing consultation and enhanced patient experience. Using updated medical technology via in room TV monitors, this RN creates an effective partnership with the bedside staff, patient, family, and medical team any time of the day.
What you will do : Responsible for collaboration, communication & facilitation of optimal provision of care through a computerized &/or digital platform supporting daily management of care.
Monitor quality metrics specific to the department & ensure complete & accurate documentation in the patient record.
Act as mentor, clinician, educator, consultant/collaborator, and navigator.
Minimum Qualifications: Education : Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program. BSN graduate preferred.
Licensure : Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in New York.
Experience: Knowledge of EPIC software. Minimum of 8 years' experience as a Registered Nurse with most recent experience being in an Acute Care setting.
Work Schedule : Full time - Night Shift 36 Hours 3-12's, 7p-7a, Every other Weekend/Holiday

Pay Range: $40.10 - $55.85
Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
