Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient care and be proficient in CT. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient interactions.

Responsibilities:

Assisting patients and operating equipment to perform radiologic exams.
Preparing and calibrating the CT scanning equipment.
Explaining the process to the patient, positioning them for the scan, and helping

them remain calm during the procedure1.

Conducting CT scans using a computed tomography machine, reviewing images,

running diagnostic tests, and identifying health complications2.

Accurately interpreting physician's scanning instructions, administering contrast

materials, and positioning the patient to capture appropriate images3.

Following ALARA principles to minimize patient radiation dose, maintaining daily

quality control for CT and PET scanners, and reviewing patient medications and
allergies.

Qualifications:
• CT experience REQUIRED.
• NYS license in Radiologic Technology (or) must hold NYS permit and obtain licensure within six months of employment
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R) within six months of employment.
• NYS Injection Certification
• BLS
