Job Summary:
We are looking for an RN in a wound care unit with 3-4 years of experience in a home care setting.
Duties:
Conduct health assessment interviews focused on wound, ostomy, and continence-related care.
Perform focused physical assessments and develop plans of care based on diagnoses and individual client needs.
Recommend medications and treatments as appropriate.
Develop, revise, and evaluate standards of care.
Assist in the selection of supplies, technology, and equipment.
Skills Required:
Expertise in wound, ostomy, and continence care.
Strong assessment, planning, and evaluation skills.
Ability to recommend and implement appropriate medications and treatments.
Proficiency in documenting patient responses and maintaining accurate records.
Knowledge of standards of care, equipment, and supply selection related to wound care.
Experience in developing and delivering educational programs for staff and patients.
Certification Requirement:
BLS from AHA.
Covid vaccination RN license Wound care certification Experience Required:
3-4 years of med/surg experience, Wound and Colostomy experience.
