Job Title: Sales Account Manager - Automation

Location: New York, NY | Remote

Job Type: Full-time

Compensation: $100,000 - $130,000 per year + commission

The Position:

The Sales Account Manager will work to grow new business for custom automated manufacturing solutions in the life sciences industry. The incumbent will establish a sales plan, actively pursue business at new/existing accounts and manage the sales process for new opportunities.

What You'll Be Doing:

Develop and maintain strategic plans for business development and account management to grow presence and strengthen partnerships with key accounts.
Prospect and qualify new accounts within target industry sectors and regions to expand the client base.
Lead the proposal process by utilizing sales tools and procedures, ensuring timely and high-quality proposal delivery that meets customer needs.
Prepare and present unique capabilities and solutions to potential clients and represent the company at industry trade shows.
Maintain regular communication with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction, gather feedback, and promote next steps for project advancement.

What We're Looking For:

An educational background in Engineering or a related discipline.
At least 3 years of experience in a technical outside sales role.
Prior experience in the automation, medical technology or pharmaceutical industry.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
A highly motivated self-starter.
Willingness to travel within the USA and Canada, up to 50% of the time.
