Join Our Team as a Per Diem Registered Dietitian
At Monte Nido Eating Disorder Center of Manhattan, we are committed to transforming lives and helping individuals achieve their healthiest selves. Our primary day treatment program focuses on adults encountering eating disorders, such as Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction, through a supportive and expert-led environment.
Your role as a Registered Dietitian is vital to our leadership and clinical teams. You'll work collaboratively across various disciplines to promote optimal client care and recovery.
You will contribute to our structured nutrition programming, which supports clients' journeys toward food relationship repair and recovery, emphasizing health and personal empowerment.
Our HAES-informed nutritional care encompasses:
Accepting that healthy, recovered individuals come in diverse shapes and sizes

Focusing on behavior change rather than weight loss
Acknowledging that weight loss efforts can hinder recovery from eating disorders

Compensation: $30.77/HR - $37.50/HR

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee meal preparation and maintain thorough documentation.
Ensure all nutritional services comply with established standards and regulations.
Conduct nutrition assessments and monitor clients' dietary intake.
Participate in the development of the Master Treatment Plan within the treatment team.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or a related field.
At least one year of healthcare experience (or internship), preferably in a psychiatric setting.
Must possess the Registered Dietitian credential.
CPR/BLS certification required before starting work.
Strong computer skills.
A genuine passion for supporting client wellness.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
