ABOUT THIS ROLE

As the Director, International Business Development at Apex Fintech Solutions, you will be a key leader in steering the strategic direction and execution of our global expansion efforts. You will focus on identifying and developing new market opportunities, navigating regulatory environments, and establishing strong business partnerships to facilitate our growth into new territories.

Duties/Responsibilities Strategic Planning :
Develop and execute well-defined strategies for entering new international markets that align with company goals, client and prospect demand, including market research, entry tactics, technology adoption plans and scalability plans.
Team Leadership :
Manage and grow a team of international market specialists, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure high performance and career progression.
Market Analysis :
Conduct comprehensive market analyses to identify trends, opportunities, competitive landscapes, and regulatory frameworks in target regions.
Partnership Development :
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders, including local businesses, government agencies, and regulatory bodies to support market entry and operations.
Regulatory Navigation :
Ensure adherence to local and international laws and regulations throughout the expansion process. Including, but not limited to, how Apex adapts their technology to fit in local markets.
Financial Oversight :
Collaborate with the finance department to set and manage budgets, forecast expenses, and track financial performance against expansion goals.
Communication :
Serve as a key spokesperson for Apex Fintech Solutions' international initiatives, representing the company at major industry events, conferences, and forums.
Performance Metrics :
Define and monitor key performance indicators to evaluate the success of international expansion activities and adjust strategies as necessary.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, International Business, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) required.
10+ years of experience in international business development, including experience in a leadership role.
5+ years of experience as a people manager
Proven track record of successful market expansion and development in multiple countries.
Required Skills/Abilities Strong understanding of the fintech industry and the specific challenges associated with financial services expansion globally.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strategic thinker with a robust analytical mindset.
Highly motivated, autonomous, and proactive.
Exceptional negotiation and decision-making skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment.
Other Preferred Qualifications Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.
Work Environment This job operates in a hybrid, office environment.
Up to 25% travel.

Salary Range
$182,400-$228,000

The annual base salary range for this position is noted above. Exact compensation offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and office location.
