DevOps Engineer
Location: New York, NY/ Austin, TX

Job description:
Seeking an experienced DevOps engineer for a hybrid environment (on premise and AWS) supporting both Windows and Linux environments and multiple development languages.
In this role, you will work collaboratively with software engineering and system administrators to deploy and operate our systems. Help automate and streamline our operations and processes. Build and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring and operations. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our dev, test and production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement release management procedures and automation workflows (CI/CD) that ensure the quality, reliability, and stability of production systems and services.
Maintain Infrastructure as Code, automate the provisioning of environments, configuration management of production systems.
Ability to support the packaging / deployment of C# (.NET), Java, C++ code. Python a plus.
Knowledge/Experience:
A graduate level education with a focus on either: computer science, mathematics, engineering
Solid experience as a DevOps Engineer in a 24x7 uptime environment
Experience with automation using Puppet, Chef, Ansible or equivalent.
Proficient with version control systems (Git, TFS, SVN).
Strong scripting/programming and automation skills.
Experience with continuous testing, integration, and deployment (e.g., Jenkins, Git Actions, Webhooks)
Windows and Linux system configuration management / automation / administration.
Expertise with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, CoreOS), Knowledge of static and dynamic code analysis (e.g., SonarQube) , Configuration and managing databases, Cloud DevOps tooling (e.g., AWS, Azure) a plus.
Strong troubleshooting skills, analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
