Specific Job Title: Associate Director for Clinical Services
Reports to: Director of Center for Counseling and Consultation
Campus: Queens
Job Summary: Under the direction of the Director for Center for Counseling and Consultation (CCC), the Associate Director for Clinical Services assists in implementing strategic initiatives and the day-to-day operations of the CCC. Responsibilities include setting and updating clinical policy and procedures, providing guidance to clinicians, and creating coverage plans. The Associate Director will also assist with campus-wide mental health screening and coordination of care.
Essential Functions:
Manage day-to-day clinical operations, including intake and triage appointments, supervision, and case consultation.
Chair weekly clinical meetings, provide administrative and clinical supervision, and prepare monthly clinical reports.
Implement the University Health Related of Leave policy and present cases to the Health Related Leave Committee.
Competencies:
Provide culturally informed clinical services, maintain clinical records according to professional standards.
Consult and participate in outreach programming, maintaining collaborative relationships within the university community.
Practice in accordance with the ethics of the American Psychological Association and state law.
Supervisory Responsibility: Provide administrative and clinical supervision to staff as assigned by the Director.
Work Environment: This position operates in a professional office environment with standard office equipment.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Flexible hours may be required.
Required Education and Experience:
Doctorate in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
7 to 10 years of experience preferred.
Prior administrative experience in a clinical setting.
Strong clinical background in crisis intervention and multicultural counseling.
Experience in providing training and supervision to clinical fellows.
Experience in group counseling and electronic health records software.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications:
Doctorate, Licensed Psychologist (must obtain license in New York within six months of hire).

In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual salary range for this position is $113,000 - $126,000.
