Albany Gastroenterology Consultants, part of Allied Digestive Health, is actively seeking a full-time General Gastroenterologist to join our collaborative and dynamic team.
We offer extensive opportunities for growth within our practice.
Our team consists of 21 gastroenterologists and 16 Mid-Levels, all working in one convenient location at the Washington Avenue Health Complex in Albany NY.
Our state-of-the-art Endoscopy suite is located in the same building as our office, making it easy to provide comprehensive care.
At Albany GI, we specialize in diagnosing and treating a wide range of gastrointestinal conditions, including Motility, IBD, Hepatology, and Advanced Endoscopy techniques such as POEM and Endobariatrics.
We have openings for both General GI and Advanced Endoscopy positions, and faculty appointments at Albany Medical Center are also available for candidates interested in academic involvement.
Position Highlights:
Monday to Friday, 8:
30 am - 5:
00 pm schedule.
Paid on-call services.
Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowances, along with comprehensive malpractice and benefits.
Access to specialty equipment, including Capsule Endoscopy, Hydrogen Breath Test, Infusion Suite, and Fibroscan, in our AAAHC Certified Endoscopy Suite.
One-year partnership track available.
Minimal weekend call, 3-4 times per year.
Hospital coverage required for patient care.
Requirements:
Board Eligible or Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
Unrestricted New York Medical Licensure with an active DEA in good standing.
