Location: Elmira, NY

Compensation: $23 - $32/hr BOE

Position Overview:

The Human Resources Specialist will focus on developing and executing targeted recruitment strategies, working closely with hiring managers to meet departmental staffing needs, and guiding candidates through the full-cycle recruitment process. This is a unique opportunity for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values attention to detail, and has a keen eye for identifying high-quality candidates aligned with our organizational culture.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and Implement Recruitment Strategies: Design and execute customized recruiting plans to attract a diverse and highly skilled talent pool. Leverage various sourcing channels, including social media, job boards, networking events, and partnerships with universities and professional organizations.

Collaborate with Hiring Managers: Act as a strategic partner to hiring managers across all departments, providing guidance and support throughout the hiring process to ensure alignment on role requirements, candidate profiles, and selection criteria.

Manage Full Recruitment Lifecycle: Oversee the entire recruitment process from sourcing and screening candidates, coordinating interviews, and facilitating feedback sessions, to extending offers and supporting the onboarding experience.

Support Human Resource Functions: Assist with broader HR duties, including benefits administration, employee engagement initiatives, and communication strategies. Engage with the HR team on projects aimed at enhancing our work environment and optimizing HR workflows.
